My Passion

My passion is the world. From cultures, people, languages, experiences, the unknown, I want to explore it all. You can say this passion was stirred at a young age when my favorite thing to do was study maps and read about other countries. This always interested me and had my attention. My desire was fueled when I studied Spanish in Costa Rica in the summer of 2010. I lived with a wonderful family who took care of me. I then learned that people can make a trip even more enjoyable. I will always love Costa Rica and its people, simplicity, and landscape. During my time there I was privileged to visit a lot of the beautiful country even going for an exotic adventure in Panama. In spring of 2011 I was accepted with UCO to travel to Europe for an experience of a life time visiting France, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Belgium. This was only the beginning of my travels. In April, before graduation, I decided I wanted to teach in South Korea. Through a Korean government program called EPIK, this dream is becoming a reality. I’m excited to share this blog of my experiences of what I learn, see, find different from my own culture, and just my everyday life in Korea. I hope you enjoy this as much as I will enjoy sharing it with you!
